This module allows multiple methods to simplify the use case of needing to add multiple content entries of the same type. In the same way that the taxonomy term creation interface loads the form to create a new term by default when a new term is created, this module provides a button to allow a content creator to immediately see a new form once the content they're working on is saved. It can also add a link to create a new node of the same type in the status message, or it can provide tabs to access similar functionality.
Personally I'm not a big fan of adding extra tabs unless really necessary, so I did find it surprising that this module proactively set the default configuration for all content types when I installed it. I would have preferred it if had to specifically enable the options I wanted, or even have each content type use the global defaults unless locally overridden.
